Our Sunday School is a great place for children to learn about God and His Word! Our mission at Victoria Drive Gospel Hall Sunday School is to teach children about the God of our universe and His way of salvation. Like Paul told his young friend Timothy, we believe in the importance of knowing the scriptures from a young age,
from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Schedule
Every Sunday from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM
Here’s what a typical Sunday looks like:
11:50 AM – Singing Time: We begin with 15 minutes of lively Sunday School songs in the main hall.
12:05 PM – Announcements: Quick updates and reminders for students and families.
12:10 PM – Class Time: Children go to their classrooms for a Memory Verse, 20-minute Bible lesson, and a fun activity to wrap up. Younger classes do a craft while older classes do a game or hands-on project.
1:00 PM – Dismissal: Classes end and children are picked up by parents.

We Have Classes for Everyone!
At Sunday School, children are divided up into classes by age. We have classes ranging from Preschool to College & Careers. Explore our Kids and Youth classes in the tabs below.
Victoria Drive Kids
Preschool and Kindergarten
The Pre-School and Kindergarten class is geared toward young minds. With engaging visuals, fun games, and coloring activities, we teach the kids the truth about God’s love. Teaching the scriptures to our children at an early age will lay the groundwork for a strong and gospel-centered foundation.
Grade 1 – Grade 7
In Victoria Drive Kids, we build a strong, gospel-oriented foundation while having a great time!. In each class, we teach kids the wonderful truths from the Bible such as: Who is God and what is he like? The problem of sin and our need for salvation, and many stories from the Old and New Testaments. To reinforce learning, we include various crafts, activities, contests, and fun quizzes.
Victoria Drive Youth
Grade 8 – Grade 12
Our teen classes explore the Bible through in-depth lessons and real-life applications. We seek to see students reached by the gospel and grow in their faith.
College and Careers
We have a class for older students that are in university or beginning their careers to learn more about what the Bible teaches. For those that are interested in mentoring, we also offer mentoring in career, life, and Bible study.
Activities & Events
At Victoria Drive Sunday School, learning about God’s Word is always fun and interactive! In addition to our weekly Bible lessons, we offer a variety of special events and activities throughout the year to help kids build friendships, enjoy new experiences, and grow in their faith.
Preteen Events (Ages 7-12)
Once a month—usually on the third Saturday—we host exciting events just for preteens! Activities may include:
- Baking cookies
- Nerf battles
- Ice skating
- Laser tag
- Park games and more!
Events take place either at the church or a nearby park or community location. These outings are a great way for kids to connect and have fun in a safe and positive environment.
Youth Nights (Ages 13+)
Youths meet monthly on the last Friday of the month for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship. Past events have included:
- Group games & tournaments
- Beach BBQs
- Curling nights
- White Elephant gift exchanges
- Skating and more!
It’s a great way for older youth to stay connected, ask questions, and build friendships rooted in faith.
Sunday School Contests & Rewards
We love encouraging students to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word! During Sunday School, we host friendly competitions and quizzes where kids can earn:
- Points for attendance, verse memorization, and participation
- Prizes and rewards during contests
- A Grand Prize at the end of the year for top-performing students!
Special Sunday Events
On holidays like Easter, Mother’s Day, and Thanksgiving, we celebrate together as a Sunday School and church community. These Sundays often feature:
- A special guest speaker
- A special Sunday School lesson
- A delicious community lunch for all families
These events are a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to enjoy meaningful time together while celebrating God’s goodness.
